I'm so glad PC's don't adhere to the "lifecycle" trap you get with these damn tablets (especially when you take the price into account). So you can't really compare.
Also, anyone else noticed that ever since Dual Core processors on PC's the time you need between upgrades has become less and less?
A four year old+ Dual Core is still more than capable for most desktop software, spend R1.6K, drop in a SSD and it's almost a whole new machine.Even a decent graphics card these days can last a very long time (thanks to console "dumbing").
I expect my SB i5 2500K to last a very long time before I need to upgrade, hell, Windows 8 runs even better on it that Win7. I'd like a tablet for some more convenient content consumption, but taking the price into account just doesn't make it worth it.
R5-7K is insane if you compare it to the Notebook you can buy with that cash, sure, you obviously pay for the form factor but it's still way too expensive from my point of view.
