i am curious to know what all people have connected - some of you appear to have kilometers of cable lurking around.

then add to that all the data cables - must look like a celebration of cables at your place !

Neater than a lot of yours, but messier than I thought it was :p

think there is a rule with wires. can have it as neat as you want but leave it for a while and it messes itself up

Definitely. They conspire against us: All nice and neat one moment and then when you look away they explode all over the place.

That sir, is indeed, a majestic sight - a vision of loveliness, the multiplug daisy-chain is particularly fetching.
I applaud your use of the nonchalantly placed roll of tape - it lends a refreshingly playful whimsical touch - a mere glimpse elevates the spirits !
The cables that appear to be attempting an escape through the blinds symbolize the angst & sense of deprivation suffered by the wireless generation.

In all - a remarkable achievement !

Hahahaha! Hope you are joking :D:confused::erm:

Not at all.

20 years ago I'd often fix pc's by removing the layers of dust inside. Dust does conduct some electricity.

In DJ's case it's sealed though so it wouldn't. But I thought I'd mention it.

Recently I had an old db board trip switch blow because of dust inside.

Everything in Europe is only 2 point, the round type we get here sometimes, their earth sits in the wall socket and their wall sockets will happily take the 6 sided 2 point plugs as well and keep them there.

Yes, but then someone thought that making the adapter as part of the plug, instead of further down the wire was a good idea.
Now you have an unbalanced adapter that you have to cellotape into place, that loses power when you breathe to near to it, all while blocking all the other plugs.

$^%@! whoever designs multiplugs for ellies needs to be shot.

My setup looked like some of the examples above until I started having earth-leakge tripping problems, so I was forced to keep the cables neat and tidy and free of dust/dirt.

Dust is a magnet for humidity. Silicon dust = no conductivity. ;)
