My fibre was dead for a few minutes around 11:00 - Cape Town, northern suburbs, Vuma.

It is all ok now, but my smokeping to www.cybersmart.co.za is now looking like this:

I'm in the same area and can confirm the same 1/2 minute outage. I work from home 3 days a week and just so happen I was on a Skype call at that time.

Same, except I am not at home, but got notifications from my monitoring system. Exactly at 11:09

Yeap was a brief issue with a router reboot. Please let me know if any of you are still experiencing any issues.

My brief issue lasted 40-45minutes on the Octotel network.
Yeap it was the Octotel interface that was having issues, and it took that long to get to one of their senior guys to assist.

Random sites being unable to load doesn't seem to be an issue anymore.

@pbcool my line is back up again but I’m struggling to connect. Sent you a pm

@PBCool.

Any feeback from Octotel. After being normal for part of the weekend, internet is terribad again:

<5mbps to a local server

International is a disaster:

Yesterday those two tests were at 195 Mbps & 85 Mbps respectively

Not too sure whats going on.
This is on a 100/100 line with Octotel

Yeap seems to be a general thing on Octotel again. We are busy with them on the issue.

I just activated my 200/20 line yesterday it started working this morning but I am only getting speeds under 100Mbps. (connected to router proved using cat6 Ethernet cable)

@PBCool - my month with Afrihost expires at midnight, and then my journey with you starts. Will I need to email anybody to get set up /be activated? I signed up earlier in the month - got my router and everything.

Nope so long as the line will be configured over to our network you are good to go. Is it trenched or aerial? Or not Vumatel?
