Hi all. Anyone having problems in sandton,paulshof area. Vumatel? Got a very erratic ping. 15ms it over 50 and running at half speed!

Are you on aerial or Trenched? We have no outage notices. An MTR would also help.
 
Trenched. Just tested again and seems fine now except I am uploaded at almost 3x my package. Was erratic for over an hour.
 
PBCool please see the email I sent you. I have been invoiced for a 200/200 line and not 100/100 as I was supposed to. (You may recall the fiasco with my downgrade earlier this month)

That VAT rate on the invoice is also still 14% and not 15%.

Will sort it out for you Gabriel, got your email and private message, the VAT increase only applies to invoices generated on the 1st of April and onward.

This has been fixed, the debit run only happens next week after the public holiday so you should be set.

Damnit, apparently I'm blind. I just noticed the address in my traces was not actually the same… and the culprit turns out to be my DNS settings. I was trying out Google Public DNS; if I switch back to CISP's DNS servers then I get the expected address and routing.
 
@PBCool, fibre went down about an hour ago, not back up yet. Mtn network.

You need to apply with both of us :) Vumatel to have the line installed then us for the service.
 
Is something going on with Youtube or Google's CDN? Youtube has struggled for the last few days for me. Not every video, but quite frequently I'm encountering issues.

PBCool my issues in North Riding persist every evening during peak unstable video streaming and performance, your support never come back to me with solutions and nothing is being done. Can someone just please help me. I did PM you a while ago....
