This is the latest from MFN:

Hi Paul
*
We are still busy working on a plan, but it is not yet confirmed. We are busy with engineers on this, and will be able to confirm on Wednesday.

Thanks PBCool.

TTC died for 6 minutes again now.

This is really getting frustrating.

Paul, what was the result of your meeting with them?

Not much, basically they are denying anything wrong with their network or processes. We are being forced to make some tough decisions with them.

Damn, coming from 10Mb/1Mb ADSL to 100Mb/100Mb fibre has been amazing. Never had an issue with my ADSL, did its job, but a couple of 4K Netflix streams with plenty left over for all the other bandwidth requirements is amazing and takes some getting used to, especially if I think just 20 years ago I had 56k dial up.

10 out of 10 for CISP so far, extremely happy with performance and especially the personal level of support offered!

Very happy customer here!

Is it normal for PPPoE to be randomly disconnected? And I mean, not just disconnected, offline for 10+ minutes

Jul 31 00:14:57 ubnt pppd[1931]: Serial link appears to be disconnected.
Jul 31 00:15:03 ubnt pppd[1931]: Connection terminated: no multilink.
Jul 31 00:15:03 ubnt pppd[1931]: Modem hangup
Jul 31 00:16:08 ubnt pppd[1931]: Timeout waiting for PADO packets

edit: Same crap happened at 1:10 am.
PBCool this is on SADV please advise.

Try bypass the tik and see if it still happens?

Just a update on this, didn't get time yet to swop out my Mikrotik, but tested this last night when I got home after work and both these sites were working again.

That rules out my Mikrotik.. Will log a ticket if it happens again.

Just want to put it out there WRT guys having issues with streaming and what what...

Showmax - No issues, instant full quality
Amazon Video - No issues, Instant 1080p quality
Downloads from my server in Leaseweb datacentres in the Netherlands - between 6MB/s and Full speed.
Windows update - Full Speed
Watching Twitch - Multiple Source Quality streams with no buffering
Twitch Relay - Lately been dropping a few frames to and from the server (Trying to get more info from other users to rule out just me)
DSTV - Sometimes i get failure to load - So thinking it's a DSTV issue.

All in all I have to say, SO HAPPY with Cool Ideas! Absolutely great!

100mbps up/down Vumatel Trenched, CPT, Northern Suburbs.
