But testing from Ignite servers its around 22ms.
Is this due to the issue i PM'd you about where they are manually preferring routes instead of letting BGP do its job.

Yes this is level7 returning the traffic via international paths. They don't prefer routes learned via the route servers at the peering platforms.

Look again please! Level7 prefer HE.net at NapAfrica JHB, who routes through your international upstream. You need to contact Level7 to fine tune their route preference at NapAfrica to route direct to you instead of HE.net.

Yes so HE give a peering guideline on bilaterals which states to set a pref value. And if you follow it blindly this is what happens.
 
Link down at Tuscany Village, Rustenburg since 9am. Other residents offline. I've submitted a ticket to CI earlier, they said they'll log with SADV, but no communication after that till now.

Have you had any recent downtime of a few minutes here and there every other day? Most wouldn't detect but my monitoring system does and I wonder if this is something that affects more than just me...

If it's a backhaul issue or line fault they will be investigating it. Rustenburg backhauls to Cape Town on SADVs network so a long run

I'll PM you times this happens... If there is something specific I can deploy to better help I can do that too. I also have a SmokePing monitor to various places running...

Also, I'll see if the unifi stuff can log ups /downs for me. Might be more useful than just a graph
 
Just want to check how the other openserve people are doing. I still seem to be getting lag spikes in games quite often even though it is much much better. Anyone else?
