Anyone else getting poor Twitch performance tonight?

In fact can't even break 2MB/s even with a nvidia driver download which normally caps at 12MB/s. Something up tonight?

Local is line speed, and earlier today international was also line speed.
Cape Town, Openserve.

I was having problems accessing www.absa.co.za earlier (hosted on AWS), then got told by support to change my DNS configuration to point to 8.8.8.8, then it worked, but now it is working on and off. I also cannot access Netflix at all - I just get ERR_TIMED_OUT in Chrome. Not a great first day with Cool Ideas :(

Can you PM me your IP?

Yeah, it's not just international, local speeds latency is terrible as well:

Glad to see it's not just me. Everything is normal when testing other isp accounts so what ever is happening in Cape Town is on CI.

We are seeing something weird with the IPC in Cape Town, it's been logged and Openserve are investigating.

Was looking for a news update on the CISP site but knew if something happened it would be reported here. Also on OpenServe, also noticing heavily reduced speeds. Going to have an early night and check back in the morning.

Have a good one PBCool.

My current speed to London on CISP with Frogfoot, with some other streaming also going on in the house...

So definitely an Openserve and Octotel issue lately.

Just to update, everything looking peachy as of this morning again!

It turns out that my Netflix, Speedtest and ABSA access issues were due to my router. After having received the Cool Ideas router today, access to those sites works (i.e. they do not time out). I cannot understand why that is, as both routers have exactly the same WAN settings. My current router is an RT-AC87U which wasn't cheap! I am going to try to diagnose this over the weekend but for now I am using the Cool Ideas router as a modem until I figure this out.
