Try firmware update as well.

Sounds like a config issue, try a firmware update or reset to factory settings and configure again. I use an ASUS RT-N55U router with my CISP account and it works very well.
 
Hopefully I can also say that my issues are fixed once I test the Cool Ideas router.

Your issue seems to be mostly AWS related to be honest, so let's test that tonight. But router on its way anyway.
 
Jumping between 160-220ms the whole time, doesn't want to settle in a particular spot. Similar to last night.
 
Speeds are better on Openserve 200MBps, still no where what they should be:

Can you try doing the same traces for me as yesterday?

Still having this issue. My international tcp upload is higher then my download and speeds are below par. Ping is fine.Capture3.JPG

I can confirm latency for Openserve Cape Town is also very erratic, on World of Warcraft anything between 151ms- 250ms. Usually 150~ms solid. :<
