Hey @PBCool

I replied to #COOL-20180921-148990 to get some additional feedback a week ago. Not a single follow up on this ticket in 7 days. I have tried getting your twitter account and email support to escalate it but have had no success.
Sure will check it out.

Tested with laptop directly into CPE, no improvement to be honest, apart from upload speed. Anything else I can perhaps check on my side? Local traffic is still full speed, no issues there

Fastest so far is this one to London

Something not right with your line, almost looks like a 10Mbps limit.

Plugged firewall back in and get full speed now, happy camper! Strange that it suddenly works thanks!

Yeah something iffy there, I dropped you a PM. Keep an eye on it.
Come to think of it i had the same issue on Rocketnet when I signed up with them, fist day I had half speed international and suddenly full speed, very strange, but thanks for the help!

Hi @PBCool

13/09/2017 I placed an order to have my line transferred to a new address. Received the following response the next day.

14/09/2018 (08:11)
Good day
Your transfer application has been received and processed, thank you very much!
We have submitted an order on your behalf to Openserve and they will be in contact with regards to the installation of your Fibre Line.
The estimated turnaround times is 2-3 weeks for an installation, please note that this is just an estimated turnaround time and it could happen much quicker.
Once Openserve has completed installing and configuring your Fibre Line they will notify us that you are ready for ISP activation. At that point, we will contact you to get a router to you and get you online.
We can’t wait to get you up and running on the COOLest network around!

Then phoned yesterday to followup, only to be told they could not plot the address. Since then it seems this application has been left dormant with no communication or followup.

Was told it was going to be resubmitted to OpenServe, but we are not getting any feedback on this. I also feel I need to keep regular tabs on this as I would hate for it to reach "File 13" once more.

My application at my previous address was handled so efficiently, so I am a bit saddened by this event. I have referred 2 friends of mine to CISP purely based on the service experience I had, who have both signed up, so I would hate to see a downturn in the experience as I have always vouched for it.

Openserve has changed the way that applications are rejected, basically we should get feedback if it's not available. And those comms haven't been going out, so we have had to manually follow up on each application.

My speedtests to the US and Europe aren't too great either, I think international on Frogfoot is an issue. I'm on Frogfoot in Cape Town, 100Mb line, cabled, good gigabit router and cabling. Local is perfect.

I have similiar issues also frogfoot. Only in pretoria.

Local works 100% but international is performing well below expectations. Doesn't matter whether I use my asus 5300ac, the cisp supplied router or directly with the cpe.

Problem is FF says line is fine. PB is getting them to replace the cpe so hoping that fixes the issue.

Yeah it's very annoying. Please let me the outcome of them changing out your CPE, will be a good starting point to diagnose the problem. If it doesn't help at all then I think they're being a bit misleading with their "everything is fine" statement.

Luckily hasn't been a problem with my usage scenario, but it's the principle of the thing, paying for a 100Mb line and only getting that speed locally. I don't expect full speed internationally but my upload is pretty atrocious at the moment...

Got some ultra scary packet loss going on tonight. Picked this up when i was playing PUBG, the results were Pinged to AWS Ireland

According to this you have packetloss to your router?

Same here. I'm on Vumatel in Cape Town. International is either trickling through or not accessible at all.

Vumatel installed my line today, CPE box showing all the right lights, went into the shop page as directed ordered Cool Ideas and as they haven't updated their website. (only gets updated once a week on a Thursday) I cant activate Cool Ideas as an ISP.

I spent 35 mins on hold to speak to a Cool Ideas rep. Explained the error I received to the agent, got told to hold for a team lead. Waited and waited eventually the agent got back on the line and asked if they could contact me once the team lead was finished on his call. That was 2 hours ago....

This is really insane that an ISP has to rely on a web page update to show an area is live....
