@PBCool can you have a look at what is going on with the routing. I am getting very weird ping spikes to Brasil.
Ping is stable at 150ms then it jumps to 340ms for ages before coming down and then it goes back up.
This has been happening for the last few days now

Looks like JHB is where the issues are as Cape Town is rock solid right now. Watching twitch without issues.

I'm in CPT on Vuma trenched 100/100 and Twitch is constantly buffering for me.

Edit: Seems to have come right, will continue to monitor...

I really want CISP to sort their sh#t out so I don’t have to go through all this crap. Unfortunately they can’t seem to get it right and I can’t keep paying 1.5k for something that doesn’t work the way I need it to.

@Looney - Try to download this and tell me what speed it comes down at. Then we will try it again later tonight.

http://30.download.real-debrid.com/speedtest/test.rar

This has become a mission for me and I want to find out what the issue is here....

Also - if anyone knows of a buddy out there that has fibre - but not with CISP - give them that link and ask them to report the download speed. Give as much detail as you can i.e

Mine is listed below :

Time: 20:07
Speed Achieved after 2 min: 949KB/s
Test Device: Lenovo Laptop
Wifi/Ethernet: Wireless AC @ 600Mbp/s
ISP: CISP
FLP: Openserve
Package:100/50

Strange indeed, I definitely felt the drop as the 3 sec low latency buffer grew up to like 45 sec but now the buffering has stopped. Maybe I'm a bit too quick to complain.

Why not just a regular speed test like

I got while streaming on netflix:

From CPT Northern subs trenced on Vuma and Cape Town Speed test shows full 100/100, but if testing on Randburg CISP it's crap

Pings on PUBG is also terrible. Had some serious rubbernecking.
