I guess shitty iperf results will cause that. The problem is, this is with Vuma, the rolls royce of fibre providers, that have the best fibre network hardware or whatever, still have packet loss in certain areas/customers. I don't see any Vuma customers on that spreadsheet.
It seems to me we're expected to just shut up and accept this sort of mediocrity. Which is something that really angers me. Can you imagine if I pulled that kind of tactic in my job... I'd be unemployed. EDIT: My Vuma fibre is being installed on the 6th of Feb. Praying for a normal iperf result. If I don't see one then they can keep your fibre, I've got better things to do with my life than suffer needlessly.

We've gotten this far by making a lot of noise and carrying on like flaming crazy people, which is not right.
It happens here because we're heard. Paul and Roelf have what every other ISP in SA is lacking. Honesty, integrity and a willingness to engage with a mob of angry people and listen to them.I feel sorry for Cool Ideas that it's all happening on their thread though.
At least me have a common place to speak all things fibre and not just CI, or at least I hope so.

Woke up to the internet being OK again.
Its better than LTE but there's definitely packet loss.
On the subject of that spreadsheet... OMG... someone has some explaining to do about the internet in the Western Cape. That's simply not acceptable.

Seems like CISPs international infrastructure is still under pressure....
Trying to grab Anthem from Origin, but only getting about a 10th of my download speed.

As far as I know origin is local with akamai unless the local akamai nodes are full and you are being served with an internation server. Should still be multithreaded so should not be slow.
