Sorry guys I know I should do research but I would just like to know experiences vs marketing and looking through 400 odd pages will take forever.

I have 2 questions about Cool Ideas:

1. Is there a fair usage policy?
2. Are any ports blocked?h
3. Does Cool Ideas have a voip utility (like Vox where you can get unlimited free calls)?
4. Is Cool Ideas on the IS or SAIX backbone (for newsgroups?)

I only have access to an openweb fibre line and VOX's marketing of not having a fair usage policy is not true as I have just been informed that I have been throttled (after them sending out telkom to see what is wrong with my line...)

4. Is Cool Ideas on the IS or SAIX backbone (for newsgroups?) A bit of a hybrid, but you will have access to IS' NNTP.

ON MFN and no, all fine did have a brief moment today when speeds went to ****! but then shortly after that the line dropped and came back a minute or so later. Think they maybe did some work on the infrastructure

Mine went out at 4pm yesterday and is still down (Sunninghill). When I logged a call with CISP, they said they had been receiving many calls related to MFN outages.
