After uploading docs for Rica, must I immediately click on 'Confirm Rica Submission' despite the message 'We have received your RICA documents and are reviewing them.' ?

A big thanks to Cool Ideas for the Early Warning SMS regarding tonight's downtime. Here are the details from the CI website in case anybody missed it.

@PBCool @CoolEscalator Not sure if this is related to the Vodacom maintanance last night, but today I cant connect to the Afrihost site from my Vodacom 5G connection.
Looks like a routing issue.

All other sites / IPs I try are fine, but perhaps there is an underlying issue and there are more ips not working that I dont know about.

Let me know if I should rather be logging a ticket for this :)

HI there, thanks , I'm still busy checking this out with the team. Tested it myself and can confirm it doesn't seem to work on the Vodacom 5G

Hello everyone, looking for a backup solution. Just want to find out, what is the performance like on the Vodacom 5G product typically? How is local latency and latency to EU typically?

Latencies would most depend on where you are using the service, Vodacom only interconnects in JHB.

Other than that it would be the same as the regular latency on our network.

For me personally, the speeds have been amazing, but since it's a wireless service, everyone will have a different experience.

Currently cisp haven't applied the speed restrictions yet, I also use this as a backup service, the other night frogfoot went down for about 4 hours but during the outage I downloaded overwatch on my 5G connection and it went 300-400mbps, I felt guilty doing that on a 20mbps package, but it was after 1am in the morning.

Just received my 5G router and sim. Very pleasant and trouble-free experience with continuous updates throughout the process.

The router was already setup, just plug and play on my side. Highly recommended if anyone is looking for a wireless internet solution.
