Thats probably their best team at the moment. Not sure what Harmison did back in the squad if they not going to play him anyway.

Its suppose to swing at Edgebaston, and with Steyn being our only geniune swing bowler I'm a bit nervous to see use bowl. Cant wait to see Morkel opening the bowling though. And hope that Ntini steps up.

Kallis is our best swing bowler.

possibly, but needs to be slightly faster to be more effective in my opinion. But lets see, I've got this feeling he is gonna perform like a demon in the next test :)

Me too.
He's been averaging 2 wickets per test for a long time, and has been slipping a bit...

Ah rats

Smith might not play - back problems :(

I said at the beginning England always seem to weasel out results at home with ridiculous luck, Steyn gone now maybe Smith :mad:

Some k@k luck there, but somhow I feel a bit more optimistic than I would have in the past. Not too sure why.

Think Smith will play though.

predict that this is going to be a real dogfight of a test with SA to win late on day 5 to take the series and the glory and go on to aus having done something the aussies failed to do last time around

kallis to make two hundreds and bowl peach outswingers for a total of 7 wickets in the match
morkel to prove too much to handle with the new ball and see off the england openers in the first 10 overs
SA to struggle with their batting but lower order partnerships esp kallis/boucher kallis/nel to make all the difference

...and nel to get fined 50% of his match fee.

The long dark wait is over - crickey today! :D

Yeah, Gunther will get fined the other 50%. :D

It can't just be coincidence that "Andre Nel" anagrams so closely to neanderthal. :D

Indeed:D Hows the weather forecast for today? Anyone got a heads up? Maybe Lionfish can give us a weather forecast...

think the weather forecast for today was good, but not for the rest of the week. Some showers forecasted. That said, there has been rain forecasted for the other games as well, and nothing happened.
