I stand by my opinion that we need a suitable AA candidate to replace Ntini ASAP! He has NO pace, cannot swing the ball, hardly hits the seam and his only "weapon" is angle. He consistently bowls too short, should never be given the new ball (WHY?) and serves no purpose in the batting lineup, nor is he a star fielder.

GET RID OF HIM - REPLACE HIM!!!

And Harris!!!??? WTF?

That is a sure-fire way to weaken our batting, bowling and fielding in one go. How he ever made it this far is beyond me. Useless fscker.

He ain't done to badly - his stats are as good as Panesar's anyway, and most other spinners around the world.

U can't compare him to Warne of Muri.

mmm... other than England which other test team would have Harris as their no 1 spinner?

Zimbabwe? He was born there wasn't he, so he'd even be elligible. :D

Yes. yes, I know that Zimbabwe isn't technically a test team, but you know what I mean.

(And anyway, if I was an English selector and had the option of picking Harris, I'd still go with Panesar and I'm no Panesar fan.)

He isnt a spinner. I dont think I have seen him spin the ball in all the tests I have seen him play. He is a slow left armer. Lets get a real spinner for a change, please. And if we can't produce one, then lets stick with a player who will actually strengthen our team instead of weaken it overall IMO.

And I don't think Monty Panesar is a benchmark we should be measuring our spinners on either.

And for a change, Ntini bowls a no ball that is too short and cracked for 4. Whilst destroying the new ball for those who could actually use it properly. And this right at the beginning of the innings. Talk about sending in a bowler to help the English openers get their eye in.

Ah, and again, for a change.

USELESS MOFO HAS GOTTA GO...

I suppose the only reason he is still in the team (apart from making up AA numbers) is because they most certainly don't want him commentating...

Regarding Ntini... I would have liked to say let him play the game first and then judge him, but I cant say that anymore. He seems fookin useless.

Australia - empty there.
West Indies - say no more.

He's averaging 32.51 per wicket, not too bad.

Better than Vettori, same as Panesar.
Not far behind Kumble and the Turbanator, or the Pakistan spinners.

[-]Nel[/-] on a hattrick! But can't take Pietersen. :(

22.5 Nel to Vaughan, OUT, and he's gone first ball! A good one from Nel that held its line, and Vaughan came forward trying to defend, but it didn't look like he touched it. Up went a huge appeal from Nel, and a belated one from the rest of the South Africans, and up too went the finger
MP Vaughan c wicketkeeperBoucher b Nel 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00
Here's the under-pressure Michael Vaughan
22.4 Nel to Strauss, OUT, nudged through midwicket for another easy single. Hang on - they're appealing for something, and he's gone! Strauss has stepped on his stumps! Well, well, what a breakthrough for South Africa
AJ Strauss hit wicket b Nel 21 (68b 3x4 0x6) SR: 30.88
