Well, just checked the list now. Why is no one posting it here? My details are on there so why the F*** have I not been informed of this per e-mail, and why have my password not changed yet? Can't even change it via the damn portal which seems to never work.

Yup seems there are a few people who didn't get reset and also didn't receive emails.

Not sure about you, but I wasn't emailed either. My account was listed in the leak, but my password was changed. Had to contact live support to find out why my connection died.

Somewhat annoying, but DJ has CW developing more sophisticated systems. The important thing is that the network performance is rock solid as is, and that's what I'm paying for.

I have to agree. The contention ratio, DL speeds and gaming performance is the best. No other ISP can give me the same value for money.

Well yes, with half their customers suddenly cut off you will have a better experience. /S

Did not get a mail. Was on the list.

Took 5min to set new password.

Oh well. Not ideal. Luckily password was unique to CW.

CW usernames
CW passwords plaintext??,
Full name
Email address
No indication yet of any other data leaked from the service provider but it is likely Imho. Not CW data, their other customers...

Thanks dude. You have the still have the list on who's was leaked?

Why are passwords stored in plain text :(

You'll have to ask the provider. This came as a nasty surprise to CW as well.

So 300Gb in daytime data is no longer enough for for my family with wife working form home and kids watching Netflix/Youtube.

I see for about the same price I can get 10Mb/s premium uncapped and for a little more 20Mb/s basic uncapped.

Anyone have some experience with the difference between capped/uncapped and basic/premium? Especially interested in how it performs for streaming during peak time and when one can expect to get managed?

Would prefer to get 20Mb account but a bit nervous about how the basic uncapped performs during peak and if I will get managed on about 400Gb a month?

Premium uncapped is perfect for streaming. Never had a "managed" issue...

I suspected as much but good to have a confirmation - thanks!

Anyone on standard uncapped who streams a lot can comment on that?

I used standard briefly. If you're going to be streaming, rather fork out the extra and get premium if you can. Premium uncapped is similar to the capped performance wise. That's not to say I had an issue with standard uncapped.

Thats just the thing - 20Mb/s standard is about R200 more expensive than 10Mb/s premium.

Now logic dictates that the more expensive account will be managed at a higher usage level and perform better overall. But I need to be sure of this. Mostly concerned with peak time 6pm - 9pm and that a "budget" account may be managed during that time.

Please note that DJ... is no longer a member of this forum. I advise that you use the support channels as per the Crystal Web web page.
