Crystal Web DSL performance feedback thread Part 4...

Ping is back to behaving itself, packet loss too ...... only getting half line speed but will take it for now over the last couple days.

having lots of packet loss today, tried to play a bit BF4 on local servers this morning and kept getting packet loss and spiking latencies. Had to give up with CW and went over to my backup AH account and things went back to normal.

Nah, that's a separate issue. Too many others, especially in KZN and an IS alert about an issue in KZN to be a solo thing :)

Been getting these speeds for a moths now on my 10Mbps premium uncapped line.

FAST.COM gives 5.8Mbps result. Ran WinMTR but support says all looks fine.

Our Telkom lines were "out" for two weeks beginning of last month and since they have been reconnected the speeds have been like this. I alerted support of this on the 20th of last month and repeatedly been in contact but no one has been able to resolve or restore the speeds to what they once were. It's getting really frustrating.

Line issue, not CW. :p

Yes but my line is "with CW". Other than a port reset today I don't believe much/anything else has been done (or if it has it hasn't been communicated to me).

Ask them to check port sync rate - have they not done that yet? Is the line syncing at the correct rate?

Like I said the ONLY thing I know that they have done or looked at is the port reset and running winMTR.
It seems to me that it is not syncing correctly (or something to that effect) because the speed is pretty consistent at 6Mbps.

Then their support is bloody terrible.

assumptions...
Well either I have been very unlucky with the support agents or they simply don't know how to communicate or to resolve the issue(which I doubt but I don't know what else to say about the matter any more). Of the 5/6 seperate communications we have had I have had to follow up with them every single time to ask for an update which has been a few days between queries.
