Anyone on CW's XtremeTTH product?

Feedback would be highly appreciated.

Yes, high latency every night. Lots of people are also having throughput issues, I am getting full speed though. So good for everything besides gaming.

I have been having connection issues from May with CW. get rediculous high pings and low speeds on my 4mb line. in last 2 weeks its gotten worse and disconnects/drops intermittently. each time with live chat the consultant resets the line and it ok for a hour or so.
was told its a issue with the Telkom exchange and they logged a fault. when i followed up i was told i must call Telkom and i did that but just get told "we will get back to you"
have a 4mb line and want to upgarde but with the hassles of late dont upgrading as a option if Telkom has issues that is affecting so many ISPs.

Is your line with CW or just data? Try using a free account from Afrihost, Axxess, Web Africa or the Openserve guest account on your router to check if it's CW's problem or your line.

Line stats as well, if it's close to 6dB SNR then it is also likely the exchange as it tries to sync above 6dB.

i have line and data with CW. tests showed latency issue with the exchange.
will try it out to verify, thank you
 
This weekend was semi decent for me, only disconnected twice.

Managed to get a hardcore d3 up to 70 again :) , still cant log into sc2 tho :/
 
Just did the same. 270 ping at 16h30 just isn't on. Will also save me R120/month.

Noticed that since my cancellation I no longer receive usage e-mails.
Latency hasn't improved at all, the higher latency in the evenings actually lasts longer now.

Interesting I didn’t even notice the usage emails being gone.

And then my line also seems worse than ever as if I’ve been switched to some super low priority crap pool.
 
Ha today is the first time I complain. Streaming is fine, but Its taken nearly 30 mins to download AOSCP rom, and it's only at 40% of a 290mb file :D
 
And download done using my AH account in less than 5 mins. I quite like this moaning for once, feels good. :D
 
Ping gone to trash once again .... really maddening that this is driving me away :(
