Cyberpunk 2077

Changes nothing for those who would have chosen male or female, and makes folks who are far down the rainbow happy. Seems fine to me - why not.

I agree that it caters for the those heavy rainbow people. But it also sadness me that CDPR is going that route just to keep a small amount of people happy.

Nonetheless, it will be a great game!

Non- issue for me, these pussies (or is it non-pussies) made too much of an issue with this.
I'll play the game and won't be bothered......it's just a game.

It shouldn't affect the gameplay (hopefully), but it does bother me that these non-binary/fluid/nonconformist people are slowly infecting our whole society with their way of thinking. I really don't care how you live your life, but don't expect special treatment from everyone just because you feel more "special" than the rest of us. There are biologically only 2 sexes last time I checked. #rantover

We will have to see Friday (30th August) as what CDPR have to say about this when they show the 15 minute game-play. But I feel this is being forced and not suppose to be in the game originally and they might lose some sales if they go down that route.

Pretty strange on the whole gender classification removal. How did the easily offended crowd play The Witcher 3 where the only character option is an obvious male...

Anyways, I always choose the female character in RPGs since I'd rather look at a woman's ass for 50 hours than a mans.

Well they did get offended by Witcher 3 for stating there are no other color of race in the game. Well in Cyberpunk you won't see your ass for 50 hours plus, since 1st person haha! Unless you prefer having a woman voice then that is different story :P.

I wonder how many % of non-binary people actually play games. Since if you look 0.6% of people of the entire population say they are non-binary. Quite funny imo.

You can mix and match. You can just connect them any way you want.

Hopefully this is right through the game. Imagine you can go to a bodyshop and change your gender on the fly. Add male parts with female parts. In a cyberpunk world this should be possible.

He he imagine that.

Just hope the main body does not get worn out and while you are busy with the action, nothing falls off

Why does it make you sad that RPG games incorporate options for more people without in any way detracting from what you want to do? Seems odd.

This should help you understand better:

And by "special treatment" you mean getting access to something that other people have always had...?

In this case the "easily offended crowd" appears to be the people whining about something that won't affect their game in any way.

There should be a difference in gameplay as all dialogue in the game will be something generic when referencing your character instead of "he, she, him, her" sort of words. Maybe they did that though to to save on voice acting costs and now they realized that they can make it seem like they pandered to the 0.5% by making a few minor adjustments.

It's just interesting where the concerns of the world are. The Witcher 3 had lots of gore with heads decapitated and bodies dismembered throughout the game. There was nudity and sex and you even banged a chick whilst sitting on a stuffed unicorn. All that sort of stuff is somehow not the focus and is fine except for genders.

I still don't see the difference, I'm sorry. A person with a penis is a male and a person with a vagina is a female. Just because I feel like a butterfly, doesn't make me a butterfly - I am still a human being. Nothing will change that.

Fsck you, I'm an Apache Attack Helicopter! :p

It is because CDPR is being forced due to journalist /LGBT+ community attacking them. It saddens me because companies are scared of those people instead of following what CDPR vision for THEIR game.

Mike Pondsmith wrote the book Cyberpunk way back when and had a vision for HIS game, but I feel CDPR was forced to do this just because of backlash of those people that probably do not even play the game and probably not even fans of their games. I want this game to succeed and give the praise what CDPR deserve, but I feel going down the route can upset majority of people and affect their sales which also saddens me, because I've been looking forward for this game since 2012.

My opinion what I have seen what happen in games like: AC:O DLC and more games the people that whine regarding genders, race etc are those exact same people complaining about Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077. But people that are fans of CDPR want a product that was made of vision of CDPR and Mike, not what the minorities want in game or what we want in game.

But maybe we will hear something different tonight at 8pm with their new game-play.

Once again there is a big huff and puff about nothing.
Changes added will not affect your experience in any shape or form.

They are removing NOTHING from the game.

The gaming 'community' truly are the biggest snowflakes around.
