I have a D-Link 1040 print server connected by USB to a Samsung Laser printer.
It was a little difficult to get the wireless working but it is working now; I can get into the web interface and I even have "Printer Online" as the status of the printer along with the correct printer name.
So why is it that I can't print to the printer?
It is very difficult to install the printer but there is a TCP/IP port in Windows and Mac accepts the ip address as valid. Windows can't quite get the printer to be online but Mac says it is.
I can't tell if I am not installing correctly or if the issue is between the printer and server. It would help if the print server had a test print function. Anyway, anyone have any suggestions for troubleshooting?
