Anyone downloading from the newer guide watch out for those listings being a day out of sync.
A few other changes have made this use more problematic but at least we can still then search.

Some experimenting causing freezing / reboots on some decoders but looks like they're nearly done. In Explora 1's case occasional freeze in Schedules list is still related to bad software so it won't be leaving soon.
My other pet Explora bug is when exiting from watching a recording we find ourselves on the home page instead of still in the Playlist - the stuff of amateurs, very troubling.

318 Da Vinci Kids seems to have survived after all.
323 MTV Hits ending next week, no sign of a replacement.

Local
143 Magic Showcase adding yet more local series next week, most look like telenovas. Apparently some peeps love them. Edit - is older content so for EasyView package only, and same for another similar one called CineMagic coming mid-November. 165 Novela Magic ends for SA.

Those using MRs (Manual Recordings), you'll find that the ability to name them has now been shortened to max 15 characters only - sounds like a serious lack of memory and some very bad or impractical-priority planning.

Question... I have 2 Exp 2As in Xtraview. One is been giving issues.. hdd full, etc. Both insured. So went to local agency 2 weeks ago, they confirmed the hdd issue, but also said they struggle to get 2A stock from Randburg. So I was thinking to start replacing the 2As with 3bs . Will only do the problematic one now, So it will be 2A/3b in Xtraview. Given that I'm fully utilizing the RF ports on both, I'd probably need some additional hardware (rca-rf modulator) with the 3b to get the same functionality. Will it just be a simple plug'nplay , setting the UHF channel and off I go , or is it more involved ? Also any specific modulator you guys prefer ?

I agree with you B. They went overboard with catchup. Currently there 1061 titles populated. I am sure that will compromise available memory. This is affecting the " Shows you are watching" Which drop away when you delete a tittle from it and every time the decoder reboot. It only become available again after you have search for and watched one of your favorite shows only to drop away again after a reboot which with the current spate of load shedding is just about all the time. Thius has become a serious irritation to me.

Yep, that simple.
"Problem" is if you have to do XV HB via RF, and it's too long since I helped with a diplexer so if needed see if Geoff remembers enough.

Something like this ?
Looks okay, most used to be poor quality but that's long ago. I use a Samsat.

How would I know ? Unplug all my RFs and see if both decoders still function ? I do have 2 cables coming directly from the LNB, one to each...

2 RF Out connected.
This smart LNB
Okay, that looks like a LMX501, so no problem - either XV is done via it or can be.
Don't forget to have them break the existing XV link first, before disconnecting / turning off the faulty 2A.

Make sure the RF modulator can do PAL I (looks like your choice does) , and lowest RF channels should work best (if no interference).

Ja, I always take both decoders with and never leave without a working xtraview :)

A few weeks ago, on my Apple TV, when a program reaches the point where an advert would go, it starts streaming from the beginning of the episode.

Restarting the DSTV app fixes it sometimes. Is anyone else experiencing this issue or perhaps have a fix?

So the agency replaced my faulty 2A with another 2A. Seems they can't replace with the newer 3b while 2A is still supported/available :( Weird thinking... I'd thought they would want to phase out the older equipment as soon as possible.. Luckily I could still use the faulty one... would've been really annoyed if it was totally useless and then being told that I need to wait for a 2A replacement..... whenever

If anyone needs the partition sizes incase they want to install a new HDD in their explora, here it is. PS, not sure if the decoder does it by itself but its here anyway.

Seems to be having trouble with the replacement decoder with regards to TV Shows You're Watching. P- doesn't work and then removes the whole "tab" ... so no Shows You're Watching. Managed to get it back by starting something else. Sometimes it will just go awol....like this morning again....real pain in the arse. Other decoder is fine

Might be general current issues, I rebooted twice yesterday for similar.
