I no longer have any programmes in my guide, nor BoxOffice or Catch Up!

Anybody else spot any other issues?

EDIT: ah, I rescanned all networks and all seems to now be in order (except for the s**t font on the guide)

I saw the new SW this morning. UI looks a little slicker imho, but the EPG was still slow and laggy. Today is the last day of my subscription. Too little too late, monochoice.

Saw the new software this morning. Not sure what's changed though, apart from the font.

• Search functionality in the TV Guide(Title and Theme Search)
• Subtitles for the hearing impaired (only when viewing LIVE TV)
• Audio levelling across decoder connectors (RF, RCA and HDMI). The resolves the problem off different audio levls across the various connectors.
• General performance enhancements have been made, including the functioning of trickmodes (FF, RW, Instant replay) as well as the time it takes to delete recordings.

still not working right for me :(

IMHO I like the new font. Much cleaner than the old one. Its a tad squeezed together on an HD wide-screen TV but I have no issues with its legibility. There are some errors in the renaming of some menus like on the DSTV On Demand "catch-up" side the words "catch up" don't appear anymore so for someone new to it they might not know what's cooking.
They also seem to have squeezed some images and they now look blurry on widescreen tv's. E.g. The TV Guide landing screen.

I really don't like the new font - it is too small for the resolution (I assume the decoder's overlay is 576p?).

well mines is worse the remote dont respond any more i rebooted it works for a few minutes then just stops working.

That doesn't sound promising at all.

I briefly played around on mine this afternoon and it feels a lot better. Very responsive but this weekend will be the acid test with all the sport etc

Been having issues with our HD pvr since they did this upgrade, basically the silly thing keeps rebooting sometimes every 30 minutes, phoned up Multichoice and the only help they could give was take in your decoder, they didn't even attempt to try trouble shoot from their side...oh well seems I'll be in queue at some point :(

I wish they hadn't changed the favourite channels display, it's the same size as "all channels" now :(

Luckily I cancelled mine months ago...

However, got calls from both my mom and dad-in-law complaining - they didn't even know it was changing!
They say the decoder doesn't work as before, it randomly reboots, terrible lag on screens, remote not responding, and so on and so on - well done monochoice; looks like you'll lose another two customers very shortly...

Haven't seen any problems with the 2P yet, other than the new font taking some getting used to. Did notice that there's a screen listing all the scheduled recordings that I haven't seen before (scroll past box office and what used to be catch up).
