You've cancelled your account......they've agreed to refund your money, but this will only happen on Monday with the rest of the "billing runs", yet you wanne surf the net "for free" for the rest of the weekend ????

tried the ssl server on astraweb....same speed....
Anyone tried to share accounts with astraweb? it says you can't download from the same IP...isn't there a way we could go through a proxy? this way we could share accounts...
You don't need 20 connections, i get the same speed with 10 or 7...

Yep, am using the SSL, seems no different to the regular... I have upped the number of errors before it times out tho, perhaps that will help, cheers
 
Things have really gone insanely downhill since the implementation of this supposedly speed-increasing move to the new " Virtual pipe " system. My speeds are basically now at a standstill on a 4mb line and a mild account. It was a lot better before this move and now I will probably not continue on with them into the new month...
 
well they said ill be sent my account details in 24 hours !! its been 24 hours :/

Kinda sad day, If I'm lucky I'll reach a GB a bit at midnight :( Even worse is that still nothing from DC :confused:

DC needs to do do something like yesterday or I predict a flush of the toilet for their business :erm:
 
Not "working at package speeds" here. I'd be happy if I was getting my 32kBs but instead I am clearly limited to 20kBs. (HTTP and HTTPS)

Andre has been ignoring my emails about this (and the forum complaints over the past few days as well it seems) but I am hopeful they'll undo whatever weird limitation they placed.

Yup, me too, I also got it for the bursting, Now with astraweb running at a max of 20KB/s, I am definitely not going to be renewing with DC....

I wish they could give us a stable 30KB/s. All I'm getting is an inconsistent 10-25KB/s well actually it bursts to 30KB/s every now and then but averages around 18-22KB/s.
