Not too bad. But R25 000 peanuts for top range Samsung phones? Seen over R32 000 for latest phones.
But the devil is in the T & Cs. You need to maintain 250K in the account, and must have spent 600K from your cards in the past 12 months. Not too bad. But R25 000 peanuts for top range Samsung phones? Seen over R32 000 for latest phones.

Definitely not in my bracket but these are some nice perks.
Don't all credit cards let you pay online and at shops wthout any fees? As long as you pay the full balance by the due date each month, there should be no fees other than your standard monthly fee for the honour of having the card (R75 for the Discovery Gold card only). Just make sure you will earn enough back in rewards each month to warrant to cost of the credit card. Otherwise go for a free card like Virgin Money.I'm guessing Gold is the cheapest and best option for me for now, but which account will let me use the credit card to buy stuff online, pay at shops etc without paying fees for it. Currently with Nedbank.
Depends on your lifestyle. Ideally you’d need to be on diamond money status, and spend quite a bit on healthy food and healthy gear per month to get the potential maximum return. Probably with gold full suite then.Hi guys, am considering getting a Discovery credit card (because of the rewards) as a new graduate.

Mine is split between normal Vitality savings, tax free savings and fixed deposit. But all added up to the required amount needed for diamond.According to the website, "In order to achieve a (sic) Diamond status, you need to be on Gold status and have a certain amount of savings in your Discovery Bank accounts." Does it state which Discovery Bank account/s need to contain these savings? Could I just stash the required amount in a fixed deposit and forget about it?
Another question: do the dynamic interest rates apply to fixed deposits, or only to demand/notice accounts?
I got something today, but it seems to be only the vitality health side, nothing from bank yet.anyone else receive their miles for healthy food, gear etc yet ?
mine looks to be around 4K miles less than anticipated. Need to query to see a breakdown
