Discovery Vitality [2019]

[11:31, 11/15/2019] Ask Discovery: It seems the points are reflecting on our side now, we were experiencing a delay in gym points from last week however that has now been resolved.
[11:32, 11/15/2019] Ask Discovery: Please check on your Vitality Points Tracker, they were updated with our bulk fix today.

Gym should be fixed, but mine is not showing yet.

I think it showing on homepage from I can tell I only need 50 points which is correct, under active rewards it shows 100 points needed for my goal.

Drive goal not updated for me yet.
I went to gym last night, nothing yet. I don’t know how long it takes, I’ve never really bothered with gym points.

The drive thing is getting a bit ridiculous now though, did you query it too?

At least 24 hours usually a lot more

I achieved all three but never got the bonus play.

Credit card points for weekly goal not updating ,mine stuck on 16.5 yet I did over 20, the trophy and yellow infill is there but the circle isn't completed

Hi All,

Just wanted to know from next year, they will reward on the discovery miles only. If I do not have a discovery credit card, how do I get the discovery miles? Did it cost R400 to activate the discovery miles every year and a monthly R70 for the credit card?

It’ll be the same concept as now, just miles instead of points. No credit card needed and no fee. You won’t be able to monetise your miles without Discovery Bank though.

Okay, cool, I thought I have to get a credit card and pay that annual fee to get rewarded. Thanks

What will the miles be worth? And... How will the game board work?

25 active rewards points is the min currently you get and you get select the first block with 25 points.
So the board min is hopefully 125 miles.

100 miles per goal and hopefully min per block is 100-125 miles!

So reach all your goals will get your 300 miles and 4 plays which is hopefully means a min of around 700 miles per week!

I see under the 25 reward points is "on the run fruit pots" from pick n pay?

So the board will also give miles it seems? What is the conversion rate to monetise them?

12 miles = R1 for cash. 10 miles = R1 at rewards partners. Everything will be in miles, yes.

That's very little then if we work on the 125 point assumption being on the board ‐ this is giving you between R8 and R10 vs now a smoothie worth R30+

Am I missing something

Coffee will be 125 miles, smoothie is next block which starts at 200 miles. Best small smoothie is R49!

I'm my head I'm thinking...

4 plays maximum got you a guaranteed dischem voucher. Ie 100 points. If each plays minimum is 125 points - 4x 125 =500 miles which is only worth 50 Rand.

Thoughts?

Plus you will also get the 100 miles per goal achieved, so 300 Miles for 3 goals, this plus the 500 miles (125x4) = 800 miles. This is R80 compared to R100 currently

The game board won’t be the only source of miles. Even non-bank customers will get miles for the annual vitality health check (up to 5000 or roughly 100/week), plus you’ll get miles for achieving your health goals. Miles will be a fungible currency like eBucks. Way better than the current points system imo.

Has anyone returned a fitness device that is currently on device booster

My Huawei band 2 pro, is giving me an issue (sometimes tho) when I'm in a workout I press the (only) button to cycle through different views but it ends my Workout when I do a quick press(it supposed to only end through a long press) I got it from sportsman warehouse,I'll go chat to them soon. The Huawei support centre in Cornubia does repair fitness devices

I assume they will continue paying you as long as you continue meeting your goal.
