Does anyone know if bands like the Honor Band 5 that use the Hauwei health app sync to discovery?

What do you mean you get penalized if you drive more than 1000km?

I'm.in Durban if that helps

I spoke to discovery as to the reason why i meet all my weekly goals but the score doesnt increase that much. They told me about coverage ratio and the distance i travel. It reduces the score if the average for the past three months is greater than 1000

I'd really value the general opinion from others on here regarding an issue relating to the Vitality Fitness Assessment. I'm looking for validation if this is an issue others (in my position) would take on with Vitality or if I should just let it go.

The image below displays the Get Active points availability screen. Based on this information I made the decision to go do the Vitality Fitness Assessment in the hope of getting 7500 points towards my vitality points for 2019. This is the screen after I had done the fitness assessment.

I saw that no points were awarded and the reason given in the pointds earned tracker was that have reached my get active points allocation for the year (30000). My argument with that is if no points would be allocated to me after doing the fitness assessment the points available next to the fitness assessment should be 0 and not 7500. Seeing the 7500 made me assume the points would still be allocated, I assumed (reasonably) that the get active points just refers to exercise points and not to assessments.

I have raised this with Discovery and their feedback is that there is wording in some or other policy which clearly states that if you have reached your maximum Get Active points, no other points would be allocated. I should have apparently referred to that before doing the fitness assessment so it's really my loss having paid R600 for the assessment.

I'm not sure if I should accept this. Vitality provides this tool to members to make a decision on what to do in order to earn points. If I cannot trust this, then what can I trust as guidance to earning points? Surely the wording "points available" should be trusted to mean they really are available regardless of any fine print anywhere else? If the points are not available then don't show it as being available.

Should I take it further with executive management or cut my losses and move on?

It is certainly a glitch on their website. Your argument is correct, if the points will not be allocated, it should state it clearly on the tracker. Points available means if you do stuff you will get those points.

The R600 is a loss, just move on. The only decision is, are you willing to fight this cause to get the website to show point earnings correctly, (for other people that may find themselves in the same situation as you) or is it not worth the emotional energy? Either way, good luck.

Gym booster

There is no mention of Vitality cancelling the gym booster. They only say it can’t be activated after 1 January 2020.
Does this mean I can still try and activate it. Activation doesn’t work online, no error or success message when trying to activate.

I also get that impression, if you are currently on it, you will stay on it. But new members will have to go the bank route to get the cash back. On that system, I will definitely lose out, so I'm staying on the current system. If I remember correctly, you activate it on the app, not online.

Dam so you need the full banking suite and change your debt order to their bank, so I'm out as I only have their cc and their vitality savings account?

But even to get the boosted portion paid back,it says your account needs to be in good standing order but I'm sure I read the more you spend the more they give back, want it like R25000 a month to get the 25% paid back?

Or is this only applicable if you boost after 1st Jan, does those that allready have their gym booster and disc new cc still get it paid back?

Apple watch was it's own thing, I think you thinking of the device booster and you go buy and pay for a fitbit at sportmans warehouse and earn you money back.
Lol oh then it's not worth it
I already have a fitbit was trying to cheap skate my way in to the updated version.

Heads up guys.... keep checking your healthy food cashback. I've been getting way less than I should be, and on checking (emailing them and asking them to send me the details, purchase by purchase) they're missing purchases. In August it was two purchases from PnP, September was one, and this month it was 4, totalling R145 in cashback.
