Thanks. This sucks..
I wonder if they will have the gym booster for Premier membership or still club onlyThanks. This sucks..
Damn forcing us to use discovery bank.
Agreed - seems counter-intuitive to link gym booster to a money goal instead of the fitness goal!!This doesn't make sense to me. I get that the booster saves you money, but going to gym is more related to physical fitness so, for me, it makes more sense tied to your fitness goals than money goals...
Seems might have to spend 2500 a week to reach a goal.Agreed - seems counter-intuitive to link gym booster to a money goal instead of the fitness goal!!
Looks like the money goal will be based on keeping a minimum savings balance and using your Discovery bank card for transacting:

Luckily you can create fake spendYa hell, that would in no way be smart spending or saving for that matter

I don't get it.. How is spending more a good habit? They're supposedly all about good behavioursSeems might have to spend 2500 a week to reach a goal.
Exactly and Thier card is a credit card meaning potential additional interest costsI don't get it.. How is spending more a good habit? They're supposedly all about good behaviours

Yup exactly - I think Discovery is losing the plot with all their latest changes!I don't get it.. How is spending more a good habit? They're supposedly all about good behaviours
Yeah but I guess will probably start off low and keep increasing every week, up to your earn level or something, similar to how the fitness goal wentGuess need spend less then what you earn or something

Maybe for legacy users the gym booster stays there for another year. Might just be blocked for new users.
I currently train at Viva Gym because of price and being right by my house.
I was going to signup to virgin today to have an extra place to train while at work, purely because I meet my active rewards goals every week so I could get 100% off the club membership.
So not a big loss for me but wanted to maximize what I get out of vitality.
I am keen on the bank purely because of the rumour of a free iphone(Considering the price of all flagship phones it seems like a win for me). Just wish they had released their bank product and rewards program so we know what they expect us to achieve. Its also delaying me making some financial decisions because I dont want to sign up for an additional life policy now only to have a requirement for me to sign up with discovery life, etc.
