Hmm are they reducing benefits to force the bank? Still keen to know how vitality money will work especially without credit card

Maybe for legacy users the gym booster stays there for another year. Might just be blocked for new users.
I currently train at Viva Gym because of price and being right by my house.
I was going to signup to virgin today to have an extra place to train while at work, purely because I meet my active rewards goals every week so I could get 100% off the club membership.
So not a big loss for me but wanted to maximize what I get out of vitality.

I am keen on the bank purely because of the rumour of a free iphone(Considering the price of all flagship phones it seems like a win for me). Just wish they had released their bank product and rewards program so we know what they expect us to achieve. Its also delaying me making some financial decisions because I dont want to sign up for an additional life policy now only to have a requirement for me to sign up with discovery life, etc.

This doesn't make sense to me. I get that the booster saves you money, but going to gym is more related to physical fitness so, for me, it makes more sense tied to your fitness goals than money goals...
Agreed - seems counter-intuitive to link gym booster to a money goal instead of the fitness goal!!

Looks like the money goal will be based on keeping a minimum savings balance and using your Discovery bank card for transacting:

Exactly. All the secrecy is annoying!

Seems might have to spend 2500 a week to reach a goal.

I'm really hoping when it launches it will be more personalized than that. For a one person household that makes no sense whatsoever - that's more like a monthly spend.
