Discovery Vitality 2020

No need to apologise. Discovery is by far the least transparent company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with, I feel your pain.

Anyone having bluetooth issues with the Vivoactive 3 Music? It was working intermittently, but now after a reset it doesn't work at all

Has anyone been paid insure cash yet? It's the 17th already, used to be paid on the 8th.

Apologies if this has been asked and answered before.

When the new Bank was marketed, the big carrot was getting 75% off flights. Did that ever materialise? And if so, how does one achieve that benefit? Through which hoops do I need to jump? :)

I spoke to a registered broker of discovery and asked if they deliberately try and screw you. He reckons they have genuine kak systems.

Sign away your first born child for 75% off lol

Think you need daimond health and bank and spend around 40k a month.

And isn't it two domestic flights a year and one international flight a year, need black card. I could be wrong

It’s an interesting case study in how loyalty rewards can backfire. Yes the DMiles are now valid for 5 years vs 12 weeks, yes there’s far more options you now have to do more with those miles, but dammit you used to give me R100 and now you’re giving me R75?! Screw you, I’m outa here! Just shows how most people are more concerned with immediate gratification - mug self included. But I agree, it was not well thought out and implemented. Especially in January when everyone is all gym befok and ready to get healthy again.
If it wasn't for the flight and rental car discounts i would probably give Vitality the boot too...

So i hit my goal for this week, and got 100miles - which i think is from hitting my goal?

Am i still supposed to get this 100miles off the back of last week? Did i read this correctly? This being on top of the 50miles i got from my play/spin this week. Or am wrong?

I think you're correct

I dunno it says we now should be getting 100 per goal achieved instantaneously and also supposed to get today for achieving lasts week(some.members were not given so they fixing that today) saying that last night I got 100 miles for achieving my money goal which must be for last week as this week I haven't achieved it as yet

This is exactly why I am not keen to move my investments over to them, I can never find any information about how any of their products actually work. They tell you everything in such broad strokes, that you can't actually work out whether the product is actually any good, the numbers matter and the fact that they hide them makes me distrust them a lot.
Should I, or should I not bother with vitality money, I don't know, I can't find any official documentation about how the product actually works, yes, there are mountains of pamphlets and sales material that boast massive discounts, it says you get points, yes, and those can give you benefits, but how many points do you get for doing what? and how many points do you have to get to get those benefits. They say they want to promote healthy money, well how the hell are you supposed to make informed money decisions without information.
Their entire narrative is that they want to help you be healthier in your decisions and then don't actually give you any of the tools to do that so it really just comes across that the entire system is designed so that a sales person can tell you that you could get this, and this, and this, so that you buy in. But really you can't actually realistically get that...
