Discovery Vitality 2020

I thought they were changing it to only 50% with just vitality? And how much effort would have to be put into bank to get that last 25%? I read they were changing the gym booster to require Discovery Bank from October but they just made it sound like having an account.
You open the account, as soon as you do all paybacks will be paid there instead of your current account.

If you don't, then from Jan all you get is miles instead of cash.

Anyone know if you can stack the Yuppiechef vouchers you get for 250 points? Or if oyu can load them onto a gift card?

Hi all, since TomToms aren't working anymore for Vitality points, if anyone is looking got a new watch, I've got a Garmin 235 for sale at R1800.

Perfect GPS running watch with wrist heart rate and long battery life. I recently got a 245 music on the eBucks store for a really good deal, so couldn't resist, otherwise I would still be running with this 235.

Vitality Drive Diamond Status will be damn near impossible to reach. The maximum points you can get per month is 1650 and to get diamond status you have to maintain an average of 1600+ points. Pretty much no room for error. You will also have to pay for the Advanced Eye Gym course and a Discovery Insure Driving Course.
To get Diamond Drive status you need an average of 1000 points per month over a 12 month period and be claim free for the previous 12 months. The reference to 1600 is incorrect unless they have changed this, but, looking and the Drive T&C for 2020 it still refers to the 1000 average.

So we're on our way to Diamond status next year, but I think I'm cancelling Vitality this month.

Our Gym booster cashback hasn't been refunded since April 2019. I've raised it several times with them and on 3 October I got email confirmation that the outstanding cashbacks will be paid on 06/10. That day came and went, and when I queried telephonically on 09/10 I was told there was an "issue" and that it will be paid within the next 2-3 days. The next day another agent called me and did a complete 180 on what I was told one day ago; "no indication when cashbacks will be processed".

Anyone else having a similar experience? What to do?

My first gym booster was paid a few days ago to my discovery savings account(discovery bank). This is first time I ever received it.

Even with 75% savings its still worth it, I pay R300 for vitality for me and my wife, but save R1200 on gym fees every month.

They owe'd me for two months. I received one payment on the 8th and the second last night.

They still owe me for shoe booster and races that I've entered though.

Glad to hear you at least got some of your money back. All I'm getting are excuses for the past couple of months of how they can't refund due to internal issues.

I read this in the Vitalitydrive Ts and Cs on their website ( you have to be logged in). It seems to have been updated for 2020 as most of the examples and references in there refer to months and dates in 2020. Will try and post a link tomorrow, I can't access the link in the"Downloads and links" section of the website on my phone!
Logically though the reference to 1600 on the sales brochure seems to be an error, it is impossible to have that average over 12 months plus all other levels remained the same. For Health at least they are making it easier to get to Diamond, why would they do the opposite on Drive

if you don't go to gym but do an activity that earns:

You haven't answered if they count as gym visits

No, you go to gym for a gym visit. How is this even a question.
