Discovery Vitality 2023

We’re already off the ground!

(Just kidding, most people still using the 2022 thread).

Merger requested.

You also need this account if you want discount on flights now.
...which is complete bullsh*t. Discovery doesn't need to know my income or do a credit check on me just to allow me to use my Vitality rewards.

You preaching to the choir , brother! Wonder when a regulator will step in regarding overreach in cases like this. We know they want to build up their bank, so they making the changes like this by blaming it on the demise of kulula, and we all expected to swallow it. So Kulula died and it means my non discovery credit card can't pay for a plane ticket (even via their platform?)

Fsck them. I really need 2 days to sit down to figure out how if there is another medical aid provider as good as them. Medical aid being good - everything else just being fluff

Does anyone know if Discovery have said anything about Miles D-Day continuing into 2023? Trying to decide whether I should blow all my Miles tomorrow or try to save a few months for some big items.

It will continue through 2023. How much discount do you get. I know they changing the criteria but it’s not that bad to get the 40%.

Please don't judge, just help.

So last year in November I bought a Fitbit charge 5 and have been using it just fine without issues. Since I already had a working watch, I promised to give my aunt the 70% device discount I have so that she can get my uncle a watch this year.
My GF and I recently started swimming. On Thursday, for about the 5th time we went swimming and halfway through the swim my fitbit died.
So now, I need a new watch but I also don't want to back-track on my promise to my aunt.

So, what I want to know is this. My aunt has an iPhone and so does my uncle. I love my android.
Is it possible to rather use the Apple watch benefit, as in make them pay R1199 to get an Apple Watch, and then use the 70% discount for myself?
For this, I will activate the Apple watch benefit on her phone using the app but disconnect it once it has been activated and then I will focus on the goals which I have always been able to meet.

Any help is appreacited.

What exactly is the question?

You can activate the Apple watch benefit and gift the Apple watch to someone else. As long as you keep making your weekly goals using any fitness device the gifted watch will be free.

Same with the Iphone benefit. I have sold 1 Iphone and 1 watch like this already and have 1 phone 13 and another watch lying around the house unused

You can then buy another watch using the fitness device benefit, there are limits that apply here so you wont get the entire device for free

Morning guys, do you have the option to buy anything strava related with your miles using the app? It keeps coming up unavailable and I'm just checking here. Thanks

Same. Some rewards are limited and sometimes it resets on a Wednesday. Check again tomorrow, maybe there'll be something.

Is there a point to achieving the Gold/Diamond health status anymore? I cant explicitly see them telling what rewards you get for being on diamond for e.g. Thanks

It impacts the travel rewards discount that you qualify for. Otherwise, there is no difference.

Wait what? The Weekly gameboard is going to be gone? That's what I use to get my smoothies from Kauai!

And if you have other products like life insurance it affects the annual payback - higher status more payback (not much more but more)
