Testing has confirmed the following;
1. Recurring MRs are still in memory, and new episodes activate on reboot if within 24 hrs. as normal.
2. A cold reboot doesn't bring them back to, nor do new R-MRs appear in the Season Manager.
3. They can still be cancelled (individually or whole season) as usual by instead accessing the individual sub-menu on a Schedules' MR entry.
BUT as usual modern MC doesn't think things through.
Not only is it a nuisance to try sometimes keep this info in our minds only, it has practical problems which MC aren't capable of foreseeing anymore, such as the following fictional example (and there's simpler examples as well);
Joe lives alone and is going away for a few weeks. While gone, in the second week there's an unavoidable clash with a R-MR. However he needs it for the next two weeks after.
It takes priority over EPG recording settings...
But, he already removed this week's auto schedule setting as he's planning to record it elsewhere. So how does he access the season setting to delete the whole season, allowing for more individualised MRs for the complete period, if he'll be away before the next occurrence pops up?????
Bl00dy fools!! Please would someone who can, try report this more detailed thinking to MC.
