DStv raising prices next month

The Choice is simple, throw your DSTV decoder through Multichoice's window and get TopTV and if alot do so, we might get some lower prices on DSTV if they loose alot of customers.
 
Do they still do standalone Mnet? Or have they done away with that to only get Premium subs?

but yet it remains true. for a sports fan it remains absolutely outstanding value.

i mean even something like sky sports / espn / fox sports cannot even begin to bring the type of diversity that a multi-sports lover craves.

yes it puts us in the minority. but that doesn't make our story any less valid.
 
what a rip-off! thankfully, all my home entertainment needs are met by my internet connection, psp, xbox 360 and ps3. no need for satellite tv...
 
This might be my last year I think. SABC is starting to show a lot of cricket and that's all I need. So good by DSTV next year.
 
How about taking some of your horrible adverts away then. You show three minutes spam every seven minutes. Time to quite DSTv.

Was it 1GB? There is a caveat. My Cell C balance was between 1 and 2 on Friday evening. By end of game, it was 300MBSo it could have been close to 1.5GB AND I did not watch the break (disconnected myself) and I lost about 8 minutes of the second half (connection dropped)
 
Bullcr@p!! Paying extra to watch shows that have been repeated over 10 times......I think they need to wake up and offer us something to justify the price increase!
 
You can get a 4mb uncapped account and watch TV Shows currently airing in the US and UK. Especially with TV's being able to connect via a network these days... plus you have the added benefit of having the internet at your disposal. a nice 2 in 1 that... nevermind the porn you can get as well to create your own porn channel without some hippie flailing their arms like the world is going to end if they did have a channel like that...
 
Man, I love having dstv, but honestly, its def not worth it. R18/day, I really dont get that sort of value out of it unfortunately.
 
My wife and I have been talking about canceling DSTV for an while... Not that the increase will break the bank... but it has reminded me that we don't need DSTV. I will canceling my subscription and downloading all the TV i can eat... maybe one day, when they have catched up to overseas series'es'es I will think about taking up a subscription again..
