Earth Hour - join the movement...

I think we can all agree that their is an environmental problem. Easy way to sort this out is switch your lights off or not.

1 day out of thousands more I hope we all enjoy and live comfortably on our planet.
 
Have any of these environmental "hippies" actually said anything about the extent of the climate change that is being perpetuated by humans? I am sure it is impossible to measure what proportion humans are contributing to climate change, although I am open to new, rational ideas.

I do hope that the people contributing to Earth Hour continue in their energy-saving ways, and do not just change their ways for 1 or 2 hours.

The difference is this. If the fringe guys are right and we follow the advise of the main stream, it's not going to be a problem. If the main stream is right and we follow the advise of the fringe, we are in big kuk.

Arguably we are in big kuk either way...not only is it highly debatable just how much the average person actually contributes to climate change/global warming/whatever the latest hip term for it is, but it is also debatable whether or not we are in any position to do anything about it.

I won't be home at that time, so my lights will be switched off anyway.
 
I just hope that I dont forget about it....I will set a reminder on my phone.
 
There's other threads about this on the forum but, yes, I will be participating.

Please don't do that they might get an idea and then decide to have "power saving" hours / days more regularly.

Ps yes will be standing outside braaing with some mates and we will switch of the lights :)
