had the same prob .... fnb insist nothing wrong with the card, yet it does not work at any of the tills ... apparently the chip cards from fnb do not work(according to the pnp staff) .... eventually just gave up trying to withdraw cash at the till and reverted to the atm
Im just worried that capitec goes the same route as 20twenty did.
That 5k in swipes sucks big time :wtf: One can still get into SLOW lounge free with a Platinum Credit Card, right? The eBucks changes don't affect me. What is irritating are these two changes:
- limited amount of free withdrawals
- minimum R5,000 in swipes before gaining SLOW lounge access.
Do u mean swipe the 5k on your platinum cheque card to get in with your platinum credit card??to get in free with a platinum card you need to swipe the 5k. otherwise you pay R250 per visit.

edit: Just checked their 2012 credit card rules, so it's 5k on your credit card if you want to get in free to SLOW lounge with your credit card which is the one way one can qualify and then the other way is via a 5k cheque card spend .
Yeah, it's BS on the part of Fnb. They aren't encouraging responsible spending at all.
So how do you propose they raise the funds to fund your rewards? It costs money you know.

If I use my overdraft facility and make sure that my balance isn't in the red before the last day of the month, how do they charge you for using it during the month?
This month I asked for a 1000 Rand overdraft...
They gave me almost 50k :O
Just wanted to ask quickly...

I believe that they charge you the R20 monthly fee if you settle the debt before month's end. I seem to recall FNB offering 55 days interest free, sort of like a credit card
Where on earth is the marketing consent indicator? I can't find it in any of the settings pages I check.
You do pay a fee ........read the last line
