eSIM options

No. It’s just one eSim profile.
I haven’t bought one of the their packages, so far only two smaller bundles from the marketplace.
OK thanks, I guess I just need to wait until something appears in Marketplace (which I'm assuming is reliant on someone wanting to sell part of one of theirs), do you have anything displayed in the Marketplace currently?

weird I see this, I tried with a few VPNs as well to see if it changed, it didn't, maybe because I'm a new user on the system or something still, if nothing appears will contact/ask them
What ever ad/dns blocker you might be using, just confirm it isn’t blocking craterapi.com
To flush your DNS cache, just turn airplane mode on for a bit.

weird nothing seems to be blocking it, disabled my PiHole, VPN would jump over that anyway. I get Ok if I go to it in a web browser, so it does resolve and seems to work.
will do the airplane mode later when I don't need to use the phone. thx for the help/tips to try see what's going on

Done all that now, still nothing so submitted a support request on their site to see what they have to say, or if they can help out. Will let you know what happens.

I've been using DENT for the past two days and the speeds I'm getting is pretty good. This is a great option for travelling abroad - at least for me if the speeds below is anything to go by. 70B90DA5-E86F-482F-B81C-F4EA5E8D89B7_1_201_a.jpeg

The Team option on the website would be a perk for some companies, you can split the pool of data into multiple eSims then just give everyone a QR code.

Got a stock standard 1st level support reply email from Dent asking for pretty much all the info I had provided on the support form ... so I can see this going nowhere fast. Thought I'd check today and same thing in the app. i wonder if it is due to the cell provider (I['m with Vodacom), dunno, wouldn't think so but you never know.
@IamMe did you buy from the Marketplace or just purchase the normal data bundle they offer?

Does your phone have a sim restriction by any chance?

So @DA-LION-619 I hadn't tried the one most obvious thing, delete and reinstall, which their support suggested. That worked I now see stuff in marketplace, so now I can buy something and see how things go. Will check out whats on offer later once work quietens down a little.

Something must be telling my tech that I am destined not to use this ... app update came out installed, marketplace now empty again. Saw a new feature in app release notes in that you get some data free 200MB to try out the service, so logged in with my alternate email address vs phone no. got the eSIM thing installed but can't get it to work at all, just has no service, oh well ... will try tomorrow from @DA-LION-619 post from a few days ago as I'm sure I can get it working with one of those combinations. No time to play right now.

Not sure if you guys have tried https://www.airalo.com

It seems a bit easier than Dent to setup, just remember to change the APN

I have tried the South African local sim and it works on Vodacom. Prices are fairly comparable with what you would pay for the equivalent data directly from Vodacom.

Is it true that Vodacom open contract eSIM for Apple Watch is +-R40 per month?

Thanks guys. I've been on PAYG for 20 years, and no doubt I've been able to save a boatload of cash. Pity one needs an open contract for Vodacom eSIM, but I guess I need to roll with the times.

Now to decide between a 13 Pro or 13 Pro Max. :D Or to stick with my X and move to my 12 Pro which is still sitting in its box.
