Fallout 3

Really? I dunno... I thought it was fun thinking out what to do. Although more often than not I just rushed in and hoped for the best :D I never finished it though...

What was/is your favourite weapon? I'm quite partial to energy weapons, although they took a while for me to find... I'm not averse to a good old fashioned shotgun either :)
 
There wont be perks any more as far as i know. :( oh no wait perks are going to be there yay :)

I wonder how many people played the original Fallout games? I mean, out of the group that will play Fallout 3. I suspect a number of them will be seeing it for the first time so will have a pretty blank slate to form an opinion on. I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone says about it.
 
I will most likely pick up the Collector's Edition, it really looks good. From time to time I like to buy Collector's Editions, because, well, I'm a collector lol. I got the Crysis Special Edition for R250 back in June, well worth it. Not every CE is worth the extra cash, but the one for Fallout 3 should be.

I haven't played the originals, never had a pc back then. If I ever find them I'll probably buy it. I know there is a new site that was launched recently over in the US called Really Good Gaming or something, they had the original Fallout for download along with a host of other games, for a decent price.
 
I loved the originals. The humor in the game was excellent! Can't wait to see what Fallout 3 brings. Hopefully they stuck to the feeling of the originals and this will become a classic like the original Fallout.

Bloody mess perks works for everyone, it does not discriminate, just decorates

I agree and I would include CdProjekt in there. Rpg's are about the story for me and these companies do it much better than bethesda.

I loved the fallout 1 and fallout 2 but with bethesda doing this one I am uncertain about the end product.
 
sheesh, at least wait for the end product ........... they have 1st person view AND isometric view afaik.
 
from what i heard its gona be ****,
thats from the closed beta testers on this one forum i read,
theres to much hype for this game its gona be like hellgate :\

what im waiting for is Diablo 3, world of warcraft, needfor speed, Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3, prince of Persia
those are a few good games coming out

but im still gona get the game my own way and really see if i should waste my money on it

im considering picking up a copy of the original fallouts before fallout 3 comes out. Having never played any of the fallout franchise, i reckon there is some catching up to do :P
 
Lost interest when they removed mod support. Thx Microsoft and Sony :mad:May Wii pwn your asses.
Going GTA IV for PC. I know it's old etc but I've never played nor seen it yet. Just as it's DRM free...
Will get Fallout3 when it's all patched up and in the bargain bin. Will keep my memories of Fallout 2 for now.
