Fallout 76

What a train wreck.

Please may bethesda learn their lessons here and not f-up starfield. There's been so few games to look forward to :(

Tonight I will be going in. Though much is spoiled by watching streamers I hope to see whether a hands-on approach may redeem this Fallout puppet.

I see many people are unhappy with the latest update which was basically an entire reinstall. According to these many, the patch only resolved one quest error and had done little to address other issues. Bethesda is not having a good time with this release.

Yes, this isn't a Fallout game. The questing system is typical WoW/GW2. You get pulled into the shittiest events, and it is bad. I don't believe there is any redemption, the game is a mess. I doubt the developers even play-tested this... no wonder the latest patch was a complete resource overhaul, still, leaving the game in the exact same broken and tasteless state.

Nobody is really keen on coop, except buddies, when it is essential in some places.

I really don't see them use this and improve on it, it is a horrible game. Only delusional people will come back to this game and say it is good. There are better things to do in exploring your operating system than exploring Fallout 76.

Is it worth a buy, NO. Money well wasted.

ZeniMax can't slap paid content on this to make it a game worth your money unless the base game is made gratis and paid content is given on the house to those who had to be their alpha testers. Yes, this game is in its early development phases with no direction whatsoever, no wonder they released it as it is.

This is the review I appreciated most,

I guess bethesda has stopped laughing at blizzard for its diablo immortal announcement.

I’m very annoyed with what ZeniMax had done with this game. They pushed Bethesda, they killed Interplay and this is what we have today. They made mistakes with The Elder Scrolls Online, but that game had everything to be redeemed and wow did they make that game great, it is only a sorry that we don’t have that many local players to play along with.

What they made now is a game that isn’t meant to be an online game, there is no Fallout, there is nothing attractive about it being a single player game or a cooperative game. The game at its best is trying to annoy you or kill you. I put in enough hours to tell you that this is an incomplete game, it was rushed and I wouldn’t be surprised that ZeniMax planned the release date to see their numbers and to have it discounted by Black Friday.

I have loved Fallout since Fallout 1, the idea, the lore… this is what Fallout 76 is dressed in, this is an shared opinion which is stated correctly by many. There is no escaping that this isn’t a Fallout game. All ZeniMax did was to broke that what many loved, it was a divorce planned with their devoted player base.

In all seriousness, this game doesn’t have that to make it any more attractive. They can bulk on, and that is it, a cumbersome mistake is what is coming. There are small things they can do to make the gameplay experience better, but that is simple Fallout 3, NV, 4 mechanics which isn’t in this game which according to the devs are due to server limitations, like carrying and storing weight.

No, please don’t buy this, you will be sad and deprived.

Todd Howard is one corporate shill c@nt.

Definitely not me, despite the fact that I love the Fallout IP. From what I can gather this game is just an utter travesty.

I’m a bit concerned about these discounts on the game. I have noticed many more active players now, and many seem to be local so they do have p2p going here. However, now that people are throwing money at this game, though at discounted rates, ZeniMax may tell Bethesda to only touch up the issues than to give ‘us’ what is needed.

Sad really, these discounts, does seem like a cash grab.

I have, ultimately, decided to play the game and see where it goes, but when max with nothing new to do I may leave it.

ZeniMax has to reward those who paid the price… it is an FU to those who pre-ordered and purchased at launch. I like most, 7 days later, paid less than 50%.

imho its going to die the classical mmo death after the initial peak. Sure the die hards will stick it out, but the once the player drain starts its going to go the route all mmo's eventually does.

F76 would probably go faster seeing its already in a broken state, unfinished and not much loved. Unless of course bethesda injects content to try and retain...

well or remake some of their ****ups I'd say the writing is already on the wall.

// starts the wait for F76 to appear of death of a game - nerdslayer.
