FNB DOUBLE DEBITS

Can't login to check :( Did the double transactions trigger inContact SMS's?

Also working on banking software, I can imagine the pressure the devs are under currently. They probably want people to report these transactions to figure out a pattern and craft an automated way to restore.

No, it didn't.

I saw mine, as well as payments received only when I logged into my account this morning.

Aw crap. Oh well, got a Capitec card for backup that I'll use until the all clear is sounded. I'm sure they'll get around to fixing the collateral damage too eventually. These bugs are interesting (if you are not the one to have to fix them at gunpoint...)
 
Yeah! Got an EXTRA R 4800 paid into my cheque account last night! Should I go on a shopping spree? Thank you FNB, the BEST bank in the world....EVER!! lol :D

And that is FNB's major problem, unless they get cooperation from other banks to reverse the payments.

I had four purchase transactions duplicated and then recredited today. Just over 1,5k in total. Strange thing is that one of the purchases is from last week (26th).

Will need to get on my pc to check everything in detail. Wonder how many people are going to lose their job for this mess up?
 
I was also double debited with all my debit orders on 3/7/2014.
On checking this morning 6/7/2014 Sunday all wrong debit are reversed and account in order now.
Must have burnt the midnite oil.
 
They appear to have fixed it, but there was a deduction that went off for my savings pocket.
That money isn't in any of my accounts, nevermind my savings pocket :/
