Hello people!
I am in a conflicting situation regarding the FNB global account and would appreciate your input. I am about to receive a large payment from abroad in USD and I plan to use the amount in the following way (roughly):
- Receive the money in my local FNB cheque account in ZAR
- Open a USD Global Account and receive the money there
What would be the best option for me? I have no much experience with forex so I'm not too sure about the costs involved.
I'll be really grateful for your advice

- 25% to transfer to my wife's account in Dubai
- 25% to convert to ZAR and use locally
