FNB Stopping Email Statements!!!

I guess I'll have to wait and see if I get one next month.

They have only stopped the statements on my Gold Cheque account. I got a inContact message about it. Also they replied the following on my complaint:

Mine's a Cold Cheque account.

Just make sure it's not your linked savings pocket. My cheque card stopped being sent, looking which bank I can move to.

Make a read only account on FNB and then sign up for 22Seven with it. I have a transaction history going back to 2016 and am able to search for any transaction I've ever made.

Problem is that it's only from now onward for you.

Fnb don't really stick to one term, so it's either view or read only account or internet banking account.

It's the recommended away to add your account to FNB. If you use your primary login details, 22Seven gets compromised and somebody uses your details to empty your account FNB won't pay you a cent.

I still get my monthly statements on all my accounts - cheque and Credit card. Business too..

Also for me statements older than 3 months are free to download? Why would this be different for other users?

I was also quite upset when I read this. Having just gone through random sars audit for 2019 tax year, I would have been really annoyed if I had to pay for the statements.

I logged onto online now and I see I can also download about a years worth for free, so not a train smash to download statements every few months.

They're a little misleading about that, but yes, you can get the last 12 for free even if they say three.

FNB are really disspointing me these days. They don't always send CSV + PDF for all accounts even though I set it as such. My USD global account OFX statement download is marked as ZAR so I can't import into accounting software (that requests a USD statement). And now I get a message that my SARS details are out of date (they're not) and they could close my account.

FNB have stopped the ability to download bank statements on home loans. You cannot get them emailed and you cannot get them downloaded. Now they have sent me an email that they are no longer emailing credit card statements.

This is incredibly annoying. I am storing my emailed statements so that I can go back and look stuff up. Seriously, I'm going to change banks.

We are making your life easier and now you have to log on and download your bank statement instead of us sending it to you every month. WTF FNB!

This is incredibly annoying. I am storing my emailed statements so that I can go back and look stuff up. Seriously, I'm going to change banks.

We are making your life easier and now you have to log on and download your bank statement instead of us sending it to you every month. WTF FNB!

Please explain... I've had no disruption my side, can still download statements on all my accounts up to 150 days...

i like email statements because if i search for something in GMail, it make find it in the text of an FNB statement.

I can live without it... but it will take some adjusting.
