What are you on about.

The NCA governs credit agreements and if fnb refused to email credit card statements or bank account statement with overdrafts on the clients request then they are not complying with the NCA.

Lol, this isnt related to nca at all! Lol

Fnb isnt refusing anything

The bank makes it available digitally on online banking /FNB App where a customer can download

My ohhhh my .... is downloading self to much to ask?

The list options on the url, add “download”.
And the choice is the clients and not fnb's to make. So if I choose to receive my statements via email, they should be sending it via email.

Receiving it automatically instead of setting a reminder every month to download it is much more convenient.

I guess you didn't read the entire section.

This is such a backwards thing to do. Emailed statements has saved my ass on numerous occasions over the years. I can barely remember to do a whole bunch of other stuff every month and now they want to add this to my list.

That's exactly what they want. If you forget then you won't make a payment and they can charge you more interest.

Really scummy move from fnb but I guess it's just something we'll have to get used to.

I just read Cheques are discontinued from 31 Dec 2020

I assume a few more angry customers

Yes, i think, it is too much to ask for. Every month I must download and then store them all in a drive or somewhere. It is easy to access on email, stored like forever.

What a waste of good time, looks like we moving backwards here...

Simple, the bank must let the consumer choose, those who want to download every month, let them do so and those who want it emailed, have it emailed to them...

Please dont forget to breath too!!!

Change banks! You complaining will help nothing! Honestly

Wrong platform to moan lol.

Sterkte complaining
Lol. Moaning about people moaning. Move on.

I'm an FNB fan since the Bob junior days. This decision is a step backwards.

I have lodged a complaint with the NCR and Consumer commission as there are sections in the NCA and CPA that they are not complying with.

Lol! I would love to see the nca and cpa reverse fnb’s call

As I said, the statements are available! Pull your finger out off you ....

This blind and almost angry defense of a decision does not look good for you.
