Same **** different day.
Same story in the Garden Route from disconnects to congestion and huge packets loss just when you think it cant get worse they never fail to deliver. You would think at the rate they are pulling in Fibre they would make sure there network is up to scratch but here we are sub par service for the last 2 weeks.

...yet Vox is completely quiet about this. Which is strange, considering Vox own Frogfoot and it would be in their best interest to sort this mess out.

On my 50Mbps fibre line (Vox/Frogfoot), I am getting:

* Latency - 36ms
* Down - 21.06Mbps
* Up - 5.16Mbps

Wonderful. What a combo!

100/10Mbps with Afrihost / Frogfoot.

Latency - 35ms
Down - 94.85Mbps
Up - 11.66Mbps

Also getting switched from Johannesburg to Cape Town routing the whole time, resulting in drops.

Ugh, no thanks. It's the same canned response we see on your Facebook page. I am winding down my installation time with you, and, believe it or not, will probably pay more for a slower line with Vumatel and someone else (Cool Ideas probably).
Today, the ONT stayed up but our Internet dropped. Restart everything, all good. Green lights on the stupid thing but no connectivity. I gave up in November logging calls as it happened so often.

You're not even fixing the problem, and constantly patching your network environment sends the wrong message.

@Frogfoot Fibre A word of advise when dealing with mybb peeps...just be honest, they quite the persistent bunch and will gather more data over many isp's better than frogfoot can. so don't go down that path of "All is fine", it won't end well.

It is quite clear you lost a NLD link and your backup path is saturated when this happens

We have issues quite frequently in PLZ.
I'll give you an example: In the 8+ years I had Telkom ADSL, I probably went down 5x. In the first 3 months of having Frogfoot fibre, I'd been down MORE than with Telkom ADSL, and in fact went down 5x inside 3 days.
I was literally on for 3 months when I started to look at moving off after a year.
I'll have to drop to a 20/10 on Vumatel as their prices are expensive but hoping it will be well worth it. If Openserve had trenched in my suburb it would be a quick move to them.

We have had Frogoot in Greenshields Park for about 2 years now and it's still giving problems from what I read. I lve in a retirerment Village in Villiers Road and Management will not allow fibre on the property because of old infrastructre in the ground. someone from the village observed white sheathed cable being laid along the same parth as Frogfoot. If any member is aware of this, do they perhaps know or can find out who the provider is?

We are struggling just as much in the Mossel Bay area, getting basically no feedback from the ISP or Frogfoot, ISP says its Frogfoot and they just don't seem to care 2 weeks goin onto 3 weeks now. Went from frequent disconnects to high latency to just packet loss now. Doesn't seem like anyone knows what is going on. Posting on Twitter and Facebook, sort of gets a response but no one is owning up to what is happening. This issue seems to be wider than PE as we in the Garden Route are also struggling. And yet Frogfoot can't stop advertising how much they are expanding and new areas are going live, yet existing areas are getting subpar service, We are stuck with Frogfoot as no other provider has any service in our area. Lekker Froggin Frot Fibre if you ask me :(
