Yeah, there's none of this ADSL intelligence behind this system. Reboot the ONT in order to get things going again.

What happened with the backup NLD?
 
Tried that, hasn't fixes anything. It's strange, people that use Vox and vodacom seem to be back online. Everyone else is still offline.
 
I'm guessing temporary repairs were done & they will have more downtime when scheduled repairs are done.

It really, honestly, won't be a surprise if there is more maintenance. It's expected now.
 
Still down at 6pm Fibre in summervilaan Parsons vlei... Well loadshed started nw.. But Fibre never came back anyway. Restarted everything. The service light on the otp is off
 
I try log with my ISP with all outages as sometimes FF resolve the outage but you still off

I tell them I know there is an outage but logging it for feedback etc
 
Interesting to see the graphs on my PiHole. You can clearly see the DNS requests shoot up, and later, the two-hour gap when we had load shedding which took some non-critical devices offline, and then how all the network queries went quiet once connectivity returned
