Frogfoot Port Elizabeth

@Frogfoot Fibre bot...any news please? How did maintenance affect the outage in PLZ, if at all? And what is going on tonight.
Very peeved customers!

I've had to come into the office as I don't want to tether to my cell phone. Might be worth getting a slower line on Openserve with an ISP like Cool Ideas/Afrihost and then have LTE backup.
Turfing Vox/Frogfoot to the middle of my road when Openserve finish up.

I've burnt through about R300 worth of mobile data because of all the outages this month alone.

Where can I send my invoices for reimbursement?

Good day John. Thank you for your post. Please note that this is due to a Dual NLD Failure between George and King Williams Town. We currently do not have an ETA. Our senior engineers are attending and trying to get the issue resolved as soon as possible. We will update you when we have more news.

Waiting for the usual reply....
Good day. Please note that we are not experiencing any issues at present. Please contact your ISP for assistance.

Damn the bot beat me to it
If Afrihost rep didn't post first they would not have admitted problem is on there side

Come on guys, Frogfoot is a small startup company, this is their first network.

If I could send my sarcasm as data, it would crash the frogfoot network... Oooooh wait

Side note on the vandalism, just shows our country's level of education, guys don't know that you can't reuse fibre cable if you rip it out

It's pathetic. It really is. Do you realise how many of your subscribers you're angering on a daily basis?

I mean it has been hours of downtime today already, and your parent company took until 8:30am to send out notification that there was an issue.

Good day. Thank you for your post. We do apologize for the inconvenience this is causing. Please note that our engineers are attending to this with the utmost urgency and we will advise once this has been restored.

Good day. Kindly note that the fault has been restored.

1. Service between George and Knysna was restored after the fibre route was diverted and loss events cleared.

2. The impact was due to vandalism on the vendor network, which caused additional impact to the fibre service.

3. The service is being monitored closely.

Thank you for your patience.
