Glad your Mtn failover works. When FF goes down. MTN almost goes with it. Lucky to get dial up speeds

MTN could possibly use the same NLD (Liquid) but I thought they had their own

This is Rain 5G backup at our office, signal isnt great so upload isnt the best , they havent tried moving the router around for best signal yet (network cables etc needed)


Rain has also put lampost adverts up here in Summerstrand but no coverage yet lol, probably did a group deal for the adverts and maybe Summerstrand towers are delayed.
Their walmer tower came up in the last week or so , so its expanding

Frogfoot has dropped the ball lately,used to have zero issues.

RIGHT at the end of the first half of the rugby last night. And it took Vox an HOUR to notify of an issue. And took Vox an HOUR after it was up to notify it was up.
Openserve seem live as I've received a pamphlet in my postbox, so will find out tomorrow.

Then @Frogfoot Fibre and Vox can both take a hike.

Any suggestions on an ISP that won't break the bank? Or should I wait and see what's offered for Black Friday?

Never had issues with Afrihost as an ISP except for Frogfoot as FNO

seems like openserve and vumatel are the only stable ones at the moment

FF seems to rely on the new NLD5 yes, but where is the backup link? MTN also have pairs on the same route, saw a post about MTN wobbling together with FF, that would explain that

I can see the NLD5 breaks this side, but can also see traffic re-routing through PE - so not sure why FF goes hard down
