-- Vendor teams have been working through the night to bring the link back up within the correct light specifications
-- Teams currently on site working towards resolution
-- Escalated to vendor executive management
-- The team is currently cutting over to a new fibre. 1 tube left to splice ETTR 30 minutes.
-- Frogfoot fibre prioritised.
-- Preparations are delayed due to construction work in area. Revised ETTR will be shared shortly.
-- Revised ETTR - 20 minutes.
-- Vendor has confirm splicing completed however, link remains down
-- This has been escalated and vendor is reinvestigating in joints
-- No ETTR at present
-- There are multiple (3) teams doing more testing on site due to the path still being impacted post the completion of splicing which should have restored services
-- Teams are testing from the POPs (‘A’ and ‘B’) and the point of break (‘C’)
-- Confirmed with vendor team,status remains unchanged and they are still investigating
-- Link restored,we are monitoring services as the techs are still busy on site

As for Link 2 - @Frogfoot Fibre you should rap your NLD provider over the knuckles hard! Running 110mm, black ribbed duct over bridges basically hanging in places is 1) probably not legit 2) asking for vandalism 3) probably not UV stable. How Sanral passed some of that on their bridges is beyond me
 
Anyone getting massive packet loss and extremely slow speeds? I am not sure if its a ISP problem or Frogfoot being Frogfoot again

As I frikking clicked to open this thread our connection died. It's up after 30 seconds, but slow.

Sorry if me downloading Batman Arkham Origins (all of 24GB) is killing their bandwidth /s
 
God only knows how this company manages to stay in business. I am moving and I really can't wait to see the back of this really shitty company. Never give updates, always deliver way past the deadline and the pricing isn't as attractive as it was. I am down nearly every day now. Sorry but with this type of business model, it smells and acts a lot like an SOE.

Still shitty this morning - can't even download files or sit in a meeting without constant packetloss.
