Frogfoot Port Elizabeth

Hi there, we are investigating the issue and will give you feedback on this as soon as possible.

So who here is unhappy that they are being routed Via JHB from PE instead of routed to CT with Frog Foot. I am getting 30ms pings min and my VDSL was giving me 26ms. Moved to fibre for better latency for gaming and streaming. Now I fee worse off and i have been told it is FrogFoots decision to route to JHB, not the ISP.

I will give them credit on this though. Ordered and installed under 24 hrs.

I think your ISP is also to blame.

I am with cellc fibre and they route via JNB. 48ms ping for me in COD Warzone etc.

Head's up PE

If I were clever I'd create a little site to poll their network status page and output it to a Telegram bot to notify me, but I'm no programmer.

My ISP notifies me via Telegram if they have any outages on their side, but with Frogfoot the best you can do is check on their network status page daily and go through all the events to check if you are affected.

I can assure you it's not a choice. If it was we would like all our clients to enjoy the lowest latency possible.

Any Cool Ideas customers that can give me a trace, I am not aware of FF routing PE via JHB?

It's been fine for CISP customers as far as I'm aware, last time I didn't get my usual 10ms to CPT was when there was an issue with the longhaul between George and CPT.

Hey there. I see there are some network notices for PE on the FrogFoot notice board.
Checking notices nown,
Had to go there yesterday intenet was down , could ping 8.8.8.8 , but nothing else worked
Had to reboot ont , router , reset router a few times , re register fibre line and then started working , getting ridiculous now.

He just informed me started working by itself about half a hour ago.
