Frogfoot Port Elizabeth

Amazing how many different issues are being discovered, at the rate they're discovering historical issues we gonna back to morse code when they're done.
I do wonder whether some of the intermittent issues we've been reporting for a while won't be alleviated with these fixes?

Whatever latest 'fix' they claim to have applied has properly disabled my connection for over an hour. It's been up and down with no intervention from my side for the last couple of days, now it's solidly down.

Well, my connection, in Cape Town, has been stable since 0831 this morning, after spending the last three days bouncing up and down at 2 minute intervals. So disabling the Tableview backhaul seems to have helped here.

Mine has been stable as of late.

Now I'm just waiting to see how I jinxed it with this utterance.

Are you in Tableview? If so, it likely will be down as they disabled the Backhaul there. Which seems to have fixed the issue for other areas. Techs are likley on-site already to do the permanent fix (based off of the latest feedback)

EDIT: or are you in Garden Route?

Yip, I'm in the Garden Route. Things are looking up, though - I'm now racing along at 1.2Mbps (not a typo)...

Finally back online after 3 days. After multiple ONT restarts and some investigating and questioning my ISP, it was discovered to be my Tenda router. Replaced with a Huawei AX3 and back online instantly. So if you have a Tenda router it may be the cause of your problems.

Certain sites struggle to load for me, including Mybroadband. My packet loss is sitting at 25%
MyBB loading extremely sluggishly for me as well.

Local speedtest looks good though, 400mb line:

Gaming also back to near-normal, no complaints so far.
The intermittent packetloss we've had for the last 3 weeks is also no longer there.

Packet loss is gone but streaming is useless, latency went from sub 10ms to CPT now iam at 60ms. Speedtest routes me to PE instead of CPT as usual. Some routing is happening in the backend, outage might have been mitigated but far from being resolved.
