That is amazing. I imagine that you must miss the economy quite a lot, but surely the DC is a bit more practical than the platkar was?Geez, that's hectic. My current car is by far the least fuel efficient vehicle I've ever owned, my previous car was a diesel passat, that thing you filled up and forgot about fuel. I once did 1300 km on a tank, fully loaded and not nursing the tank at all, one tank to plett and back, and that included driving around there for 4 days. And that was loaded for camping, even had to take the kids seats out and had them sitting on the blankets, that thing was loaded.
Half of me regrets not instead opting for the 2.0 TDi, but the other half says I should be happy with what I have since it puts a massive grin on my face when I stomp on it, and with WFH being permanent for the foreseeable future, I'm still spending less on fuel than I was when we were full-time office-based.
Itching to get that Stage 1 tune though. If I am to have terrible fuel economy, I at least want some power, dammit.
