Are any cases / book covers available in the JHB area. I went to china mall over the weekend but they did'nt have any.

I got a case from Samsung Digital Experience at Fourways Crossing.

But expensive, they wanted R899 but I managed to get them down to R850 - still a rip-off !

They cost about USD40 overseas.

Ask for the Samsung P601 case.

Just a plastic case, doesn't even cover the sides / edges very well. But it is the real Samsung case.

You could probably get a better case on eBay for USD20, but then you will have to wait for a while.

Called so many MTN stores and tablet isn't on their system yet. They all hope to get stock next week.

I guess the closest thing to the tablet right now would be playing around with a Note 3.

Similar specs. The screen and resolution may be lower, but the pixel density should be similar.... and it has an s-pen.

The closest screen you can look at in terms of resolution would be a Nexus 10 or an ipad with retina display. The pixel density of these devices are almost the same.

MTN does seem like the best at around 8800+ data for the 605. All these prepaid deals are 601/2 and the same price or more expensive. MTN should have stock next week according to someone I spoke to at the store

Runs same Apps in exactly the same way - Pressreader, Kindle, Audible, FT, BBC News, CNN, browser, Aviary, Facebook, Twitter, Skype, etc, etc, etc.

OK, so the Air has a lower resolution, but you won't notice the difference.

Same thing, Samsung probably slightly better because of the S-pen.

And because it doesn't need iTunes.

JHB, not sure what store yet but I told them to tell me. They've called me twice now so its legit.
